Santino's expertise in fly fishing is not limited to a single location, as he has fished with and learned from some of the best guides in several states, including Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and Michigan. His wealth of experience has given him a unique perspective on the nuances of fly fishing, enabling him to share valuable insights with his students.

While studying in Montana, Santino attended fly fishing guide school in Big Sky, where he learned from some of the best in the business, including Pat Straub of Gallatin River Guides, and Garett Munson of Headhunters Fly Shop. Additionally, he studied with Pat Dorsey at The Blue Quill Angler with a focus on Cheesman Canyon. Santino attended the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), where he spent three months in the backcountry of Chilean Patagonia. During this time, he immersed himself in mountaineering, sea kayaking, and outdoor living, gaining a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
